With the begining of a new year, i find myself wanting to not only re-invent myself but also my room :)
in my latest video i talk about the new chest of drawers i purchased, but now i am looking to incorporate a wardrobe into my room.
This is the linen cupboard that i want to tansform into a wardrobe by removing the shelves & placing a rod. as so to hang dresses, ect.
The worrying thing is that the doors are glass which means a) will it look odd with clothes hanging inside & b) ill need to keep it neat :) haha
or the actual wardrobe from the collection is this one.
I cannot decide which one i prefer, or even if should add a wardrobe. i have always tried to keep the minimlastic approach, but i find myself needing more storage in my room.
This poses the question:
Which do you prefer/ think would suit my room?? :)
Let me know!

I would definitely go with the linen cupboard idea. I think it'll look nice being able to see the clothes. It gives a different dimension to the room with the glass
ReplyDeleteI love them both so I definitely see your dilemma! The only thing is, are you sure it's deep enough for you to put a rod and have the dresses hang up without being squished? Either way I think I like the frosted one better just because it would be unique to be able to see through to your dresses and such. Either way you go I think you're good though :)

if U want follow me and write comment ;*
Personally I like the openness the one with the glass has but yeah you would have to keep it neat. It could be like a display for all the dresses you have and such. Hmmm it is kind of a tough choice though.
ReplyDeleteI love the glass, you clothes can add character to you room when they show. Especially a few key pieces.

dont get either. you're room will look like matchy-matchy, as if it is straight out of the ikea showroom rather than chic. Instead, look for something different that will compliment your current furniture.
ReplyDeleteThe glass one!
ReplyDeletei like the second one better :) but honestly it's up to you !!!
ReplyDeleteooh that is a dilemma. They are both beautiful but I have to say that i love your idea for the first one. I am a new follower and I love your blog and channel. When you have a second please check out my blog: http://akindofbeauty.blogspot.com/
ReplyDelete:)
easy way to solve ur dilemma: remove the glass and buy some cheap plyboard, paint black and replace. or u cud just put a patterned black fabric on the inside of the glass so that you cant see inside the wardrobe. :)
